It's a new day in King's Landing, winter is approaching and people are starting to feel the slight breeze colder than usual. Since the inferno does not usually strike the capital directly, no one worries about it like the houses that live in the North.

King Joffrey became ruler of the seven kingdoms a few months ago, the people were not enthusiastic about it but no one dared to contradict the young king.
