"Lab Rat and The Freak." That's what the local residents of Hawkins, Indiana call them.

Formally known as "Experiment 004," April Owens was used to depending solely on herself and keeping her distance from others. Now, after a series of unexpected and "strange" events, she finds herself sharing the 15 by 8 foot of her 1957 Jewel Camper with resident metalhead and "social pariah" boyfriend Eddie Munson.
