Dragons exist, and everyone knows it. Only they're kept separated from society. Free to live in the mountains, dragons and humans have a fragile, unspoken peace. They used to be at war before humans finally decided to lay down their arms since they realized they really couldn't win. An official treaty was never made, but both sides just leave each other alone. It's been that way for the last five hundred years.

Libelle lives among the dragons on Dragon's Peak with the Dreksins Dragon Clan, and is the only human that has ever done so. This is because when she was a newborn baby, her parents left her on Dragon's Peak in an empty cabin. A dragon found her and took pity on her, taking her in. She was raised as a dragon and underwent ancient dragon magic to bind herself to a small acid dragon named Jovu that resides within her most of the time, though is free to come out. They speculate that Libelle was left in the cabin on the mountain because she was born without legs, just a little bit of her thighs. But thanks to Jovu being bonded to her, when within her, he can share his body with hers. Granting her black scaled dragon legs that morph to take on the shape of regular human legs.

But on Libelle's 18th birthday, the peace between dragon and humans is broken. Now Libelle must go into hiding so as to not be killed. While also figuring out why the humans would suddenly attack after five hundred years of peace and how to find the queen of the dragons. She happens upon Nevermore in a wounded state and meets Wednesday Addams who is exciting to finally have something to do after the so far boring school year. Wednesday agreed to help her, but neither expected the strange new feelings that would accompany them. But can they solve the mystery and save Libelle's family before they're wiped out? Or will Libelle and Jovu be forced to watch everything they love crumble to dust?

37 parts Complete Mature

Y/N L/N is a 15-year-old cynic and nihilist. A self-appointed loner. He also happens to be a Psychic student at Nevermore Academy, having been attending for the last few years. He is an only child and what remains of his parents is his father, who has been in a coma for the past five years of his life. Ever since then he's pushed people away even more than normal. His only childhood friend, Enid Sinclair, who still tries despite the pushback. Even his court-mandated Therapist, Dr. Kinbott. And then in comes the new girl, Wednesday Addams. Her enrollment at Nevermore causes things to spiral into a whirlwind of chaos. Chaos that reveals both of their involvements in a potential disastrous prophecy, their apparent families histories with one another, memories that have somehow been buried deep, and a literal psychic connection. They are alike in many ways. Both with a taste for the more.. macabre things in life. You may say they're a slight reflection of the other.. But there are more dark reflections in the past. ______________________________ Written in Both Y/N's and Wednesday's POV. TW: I urge you not to read this if the topics of suicide, derealization, and murder upset you. If you are sensitive to such topics, then this story is simply not for you.
