District 10 - The 136th Hunger Games

Set in the glistening country of Panem, in a world where the 2nd rebellion failed and the Hunger Games have been continued, 16 year old Kira Blackwood of District 10 must figure out how to survive the Hunger Games after having been selected in the Reaping Ceremony to fight for the entertainment of the cruel Capital.

Secretly trained by her father in the cow pastures behind her house, Kira is more of a threat than most people realize. However, her kind heart prevents her from being as lethal as she could be. Struggling to accept her harsh reality, to kill or die, Kira must make the decision that may change her future forever: as a victor, or dead.
