Yeah, so this is my first time writing a fanfiction so don't expect much. Let me know if I have any spelling or grammar mistakes. I'll be trying to edit it as I write.
Pretty much James makes Regulus promise that if he needs any help that he'll let James help him. And you know the rest.

1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation). (I'm horrible at description so I just hope you read it and like it) November 30, 2022- currently writing the sequel. What if James was in love with Regulus as well as Lily? After Sirius left for Hogwart he left his younger brother, Regulus Black behind to deal with their parent alone. Now, Sirius has made new friends and left his family in the past. Regulus knew things were different the moment Sirius didn't come home for the holidays in his first year. Now, Regulus is at Hogwarts, although his and his Gryffindor brother's relationship is completely different. Eventually, Regulus starts getting dragged along to the Marauderers hangouts and develops feelings for his brother's best friend. (Bare with me, the first 10 or so chapters are probably crap but it gets better) Tw: Please be aware of the fact that there may be intended mention of child abuse at certain points throughout the fic but I never directly write it. "Do you swear it?" Regulus looks deep into James' eyes, waiting for the faltering, but there is none. "I swear it," he says, gripping Regulus' arm tighter. There's a moment of silence, and then it is James who twists their arms, locking the charm in place. Not that either of them will remember it the following day, drunk as they are. -------- James and Regulus get really drunk and make an unbreakable vow. James swears that Regulus will be in love with him by the end of the year, and Regulus swears not to push him away and make him try. When they wake up the following day, they remember nothing of it. But everyone knows what happens if you don't go through with it, so they can do nothing but try to recall and respect their drunken promises or be met by sweet old death. As if this wasn't enough, their everyday problems seem to double by the minute. Between the vow and life as a student, It's about to be a hell of a year.Complete
