A man named Douglas was with his friend Ralph when the zombie apocalypse started, They decided to get to safety in the outskirt of town and as they venture out, they meet other survivors, Mina, a resourceful carpenter, and Tina a young convenience store clerk. Together, they take refuge in a convenience store and begin fortifying their shelter. They gather and organize supplies, strategize for long-term survival, and learn about each other's skills. Doug emerges as the reluctant leader, making tough decisions for the group as they decide how to defend themselves and gather resources. The initial days pass as the group adjusts to their new reality, rationing food, making weapons, and securing their shelter, and meeting other survivors being friendly and hostile. They discuss rumors of a survivor community and must decide between staying put or seeking out other survivors. As they continue to survive, slowly they start to understand of the apocalypse and finding clues on what caused all this to happened.
