Cody Jensen is just an ordinary 16 year old boy who has a crush on a girl named Dawn Jackles. His life is pretty normal. Until one day he discovers a painful truth. Dawn Jackles committed suicide. Cody was mysteriously E-mailed from a person in his school. The E-mails are videos. The videos are about Dawn talking about 11 reasons why she killed herself. The person who receives the E-mail is one of the 11 reasons why she killed herself. You pass it on to the other person, until it gets to the 11th person. Cody walks around town to where Dawn leaves her tracks. Cody listens and listens only to find out why his name was mentioned on the videos and to find out who else is on there. And what he discovers changes his life forever.
