As the story unfolds, we are transported to the era of the Mahabharata, where Arjun, the valiant warrior and third son of Queen Kunti, finds himself exiled along with his four brothers. The Pandavas are banished to the forests for thirteen long years as a result of losing a game of dice against their cousins, the Kauravas.

Arjun, torn between his duty towards his brothers and his love for Subhadra, is forced to leave his beloved wife behind. Subhadra, the beautiful and intelligent princess of the Yadav clan, understands the predicament Arjun faces and willingly accepts this separation, knowing that it is for the greater good of their family.

The story delves into the emotional turmoil experienced by both Arjun and Subhadra as they navigate the challenges of living apart.

Once, they were each other's world-two young hearts, innocent and inseparable, in a realm where kingdoms clashed and loyalty was law. But time twists even the strongest bonds. Now, Draupadi is the princess of a shattered kingdom, her heart hardened by betrayal and loss. The boy she once trusted, Arjun, is now her greatest enemy-a prince whose name she refuses to speak, bound to the ruins of her past. Yet, in the shadows of war and vengeance, something lingers-a spark of love, long buried but never fully forgotten. As ancient rivalries reignite and secrets unravel, Draupadi must confront the thin line between love and hate, a line she and Arjun have walked before. In Beneath the Ashes, fate will test the limits of forgiveness and loyalty. But one question remains: can hearts torn apart by animosity ever truly heal, or is love the greatest enemy of all?
