Paanch saal pehle jab sab sahi tha tha, Raghav ki shaadi apne pyaar, Alka, ke saath hone wali thi, jo hote hote reh gayi aur uske bade bhai, Rajveer, ki shaadi Alka ho gayi. Jindagi ka sabse bada dhokha khane ke baad Raghav ne apne jindagi ke do sabse ehem logon ko kho diya. Uske jeevan mein muskaan aur roshni ki jagah dukh ke baadal ne le liya tha.

Aaj paanch saal baad bhi Raghav na us dhokhe ko, aur na apne pehle pyaar ko bhula paya hai. Wo abhi bhi ranj ke baadalon mein jee raha hai. Aise mein Raghav shaadi ke liye tayyar nahi hai, wo bhi ek aisi ladki se jiski shaadi uske balik hote hi karwa di ja rahi hai. Parantu ekin pariwaar se dabaav padne ke wajah se uske paas aur koi chara nahi bachta hai.

Chulbuli aur chanchal Ekani ek aam ghar se aati hai. Samaaj ke dabaav ke niyamon mein bandh kar byaahi Ekani, apne patni dharm se awgat, apni jindagi aur apne aap ko puri tarah se Raghav ko samarpit kar deti hai. Ekani apna dil Ragahv ko haar deti hai, is sach se anjaan ki uske pati ka dil uske paas hai hi nahi.

Rajveer aur Alka bhi ateet ke keher se bach nahi paye. Dono ek saath ek kamre mein rehte hain, lekin ajnabi ban kar. Dono ke beech koi pyaar nahi hai. Dono ek dusre ki khushi ka kaaran nahi hain. Rajveer ne apne aap ko  pratigya diya hai wo Alka ke kareeb nahi jayega, usse paar nahi karega.
Alka, Rajveer ke pratigya se agyaat, apna pati-vrata dharm purn karne mein koi kasar nahi chhodti hai. Ghar ki badi bahu aur Rajveer ki patni hone ke saare kartavya nibhaati hai, yadyapi haalat badalne ki saari umeed chhod chuki hai wo.

Do bhai, do rishtey, chaar jindagi.
Sab badalne wala hai.
