Meet Annalise Montgomery.
She's your ordinary 17 year old girl. Or at least she was until she met Macey, Daniel, & Lily. These kids have secrets, big ones. Annalise can't help but feel as if they need her help. Especially when she started to notice the bruises.

Meet Jackson Smith.
He's your not so ordinary 20 year old guy. He's the new police officer in town and has taken quite an interest in the kids. Based on Annalise past experience with cops she's a little hesitant to let him into their lives.

But faith has other plans.
Suddenly Annalise's world is turned upside down when she's accused of kidnapping, and other crimes. Now as a fugitive of the law Anna has to trust Jackson to protect the kids, and help her prove her innocence.

It's a race against time to find answers, only to find more questions.

Will Anna be able to prove her innocence? Can Anna & the kids trust Jackson? Will Anna find out why Jackson is so interested in the kids, especially Lily? Will Jackson learn of Anna's past? Will Jackson & Anna find love in one another?
