The economy has crashed, the president is dead, and all seems lost until a corporation called P.U.R.E brings it upon themselves to bring the city back to life. With their help, life is returning to normal, but on the streets an ongoing battle is being waged between the labeled E.V.E.s who have mutant powers, and The Crusaders, who think it is their destiny to eliminate anyone with a power. Chance, a space controlling thief, finds out just how dangerous it is to mess with The Crusaders, and their connections to H.E.L.P, a secret organization tied to P.U.R.E. With the help of strangers, she is dragged into a world of lies, atrocity, and death, as she and her gang try to get to the bottom of H.E.L.P and find out what their true motives are.
