This is involving your health and I need to know." He said seriously "There is nothing to say." I said turning to walk away. He gently grabbed my arm stopping me. I winced involuntarily. I think he saw me. "Who did this to you?" He asked pleading. I looked at him for a few moments. "No one." I lied again "You're lying" He observed "God! You are so......so.....so damn frustrating! You do not know when to back off! Why can't you just leave me alone!" I fumed "Because it is you we are talking about" he said stepping closer "What does that have to do with anything?!" I questioned backing up as he stepped closer "Because I don't want you hurt" he said getting even closer. I backed up till I couldn't any more "Why? I am not important. I don't mean anything. The only reason I am even stayed alive this long is because of Aaron!" I spat. "Don't you ever say that! You are not nothing! You are important!" He growled in anger "Yeah right! Like you would know!" i retorted. We glared at each other for a few second then Marc grabbed my face in his hand and passionately kissed me. I was taken by surprise. We kissed for a few minutes until I pulled away and turned my head. "Forget this happened" I whispered as I walked past him back to the others and he quickly followed.

The alphas mermaid I looked into the eyes of the alpha, his deep blue eyes you could get lost in. I was snapped out of my trance by being pulled by my brother. I looked at him confused untill I looked back at the alpha to see his eyes full of fury and being held by a beta and a pack worrier. "You are to weak to be my mate! You are a human! Jasper stiffens in his seat as I press the metal of the blade against his back. "Don't say a word. Come with me, right now." Of course, he doesn't listen. I had hoped a dagger to the kidney would be incentive enough, but even the threat of death doesn't graze a Devereaux ego. He turns toward me to argue, facing away from the goon that's been eyeing him across the bar. I doubt he even noticed. The man whispers something to his sketchy friend, pointing at Jasper. No time for discussion. I grab his arm and press the tip of the knife harder, just barely breaking the skin. He winces, realizing I mean business, and gets up. The idiot prince seems to finally get the memo, running alongside me until we're a safe distance away. "What the hell was that about?" his ragged breaths take the sting out of his words. I've never seen him like this before. Cheeks red, chest heaving, hunched over himself on the stump of a tree. For once, he looks like an authentic person. Of course, this is merely an illusion. Jasper Devereaux is an arrogant, entitled dirtbag, nothing more. I can't believe I just jeopardized my favorite trade spot for him. He demands to know why I pulled a knife on him instead of just telling him he was in danger. I explain to him that the reason for the dagger was glaringly obvious if you consider the way he acted when I did use it. If he was willing to argue with a blade against his skin, there is no way he'd have left that place in good hands if I hadn't forced him to. I can't help but laugh at the audacity of him to be angry with me for how I chose to save his life. "You really haven't changed." His head snaps up at this, and I see his eyes searching my face. Of course he doesn't recognize me. For me, it was super traumatic. For him, it was just another day. "What are you going on about?" "This isn't the kingdom, Jasper, these peasants aren't at your mercy." I see the blood drain from his face, and recognition clicks in his eyes.

It felt so right, but I knew it was all so wrong. His body pressed against mine his hands around my waist. My arms wrapped around his neck. I felt his breath on my neck as he softly panted. He had me pinned against the wall. Keeping me from running away like I so badly wanted to do, but at this moment I don't think my legs would allow me to run. My head was swimming and everything was cloudy that's what he did to me. He messed with my mind and twisted everything around. I could never think straight when he was on my mind. And his always on my mind. He messed everything up. I thought I had everything figured out but he came along and now I'm puzzled. My eyes where wide as I realize what just happened, I just kissed Asher Grey. The Asher Grey and it was all because of a double dog dare.

He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. He walked in the bathroom to get something and I realized it something to put me to sleep. He poured the chemical into the towel as he mumbled to himself and I watched in fear. He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. Slowly, my vision got blurry and felt darkness overtake me.

"B... Bryce?" I said quietly between my light sobs. He didn't answer me. He looked dangerous. His hands covered in blood, his jaw damaged, his eyes... I didn't know, what exactly I saw in them, but I knew, there was nothing good. I realized, I might be in danger myself. I had no idea of what is going on in his mind. I started walking away, keeping my body close to the wall behind me. I stumbled on some trash, but gained my balance back, never leaving the sight of him - now, a total stranger, in front of me. He slowly followed me, his eyes registering every movement I made. They looked predatory, all his appearance looked like it. Following every movement of his pray. And I knew that pray was me. Some cries left my dry lips. I couldn't hold in anymore of this tension. I turned around and started to run, run away from this place, away from him. Before I could make some steps, I felt my upper arm grabbed strongly. I let out a scream and desperately tried to free myself from his strong grip. Bryce took my other arm and made me face him. My heart dropped in my stomach, as I saw his hard stare. I stopped for a second, but then tried to get myself away from him again. "Stop trying! You are not going anywhere!" I heard his voice, which was said through his clenched teeth. He momentarily turned me around and grabbed my hole upper body and wrapped his strong arms around me, making it impossible to move my hands and myself. I started to scream again, but again, his fast movements stopped me. I felt him squeeze me tighter. He lifted me up from the ground a bit and put his large hand on my mouth. That made my panic rise even more. I was so afraid. I had no idea of what he is going to do with me. Is he going to kill me? I felt his head resting against my head, his breath touching the top of my ear, sending a strong shiver of fear through my body. I couldn't see anything, as my eyes were filled with endless streams of tears.

"Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. But just as I reach the door, his hand slams it shut I look at the door trying to control my anger. "Never, I'd never let you go" he says, voice slightly deeper and just above a whisper. I growled angrily at him and turn to face him, once again his eyes flash with emotions i dont understand. "What's the point in this Oscar, you clearly don't want me here, don't want me-" I started but completely gob smacked when he suddenly says. "Shut up!" My eyes widen as his did for a second before his eyes flick down for a second and I heard him mumble "that came out harsher then intended" My anger flares as I push his chest, it did nothing and he didnt move. "All I'll ever be to you is some broken, disgusting monster kid that doesn't do anything for you, so just let me leave Oscar. Let's say enough to this now" I snaps turning to try open the door. I was then suddenly grabbed and turned instantly, he pressing me hard against the door. "I dont find you broken nor disgusting" he growls, eyes flashing again before something seemed to flash in his eyes, a darker Oscar arrived and I was completely down for. "does this-" He suddenly grabs my hips and pulls them flash against his, pushing his front forward slightly. Something hard poked me, causing my face to redden. I gasp instantly when i feel him throb slightly, twitching as if he knew I was there. I felt him lean closer, his hot deep breaths in my ear causing me to close my eyes "does it feel like you do nothing for me?" He growls. His voice and actions cause a throbbing of my own to occur. He pulls back so we were looking into each other eyes "your far from a child iris and there's not a single day I've looked at you that way" his voice only seems to deepen. I felt a wetness build in my panties causing me to blush harder, his hands suddenly comes up and cups my face and I knew I was screwed.
