The country of Riland is a land of opportunity and wealth but also war, bloodshed, and violence. Despite the imminent threat of bombs and bullets, people had faith. 

Eli was one of those people. Devoted to his studies, he dreams of making his parents proud by getting into the best university that Riland has to offer. It would take a lot of work, but he was committed to getting accepted by winter break.

What he doesn't know is that all of the years of suppressing his biggest secret, it finally catches up to him, and he's forced to face the consequences.
