A young boy named Daniel Stansfield is struggling with dark memories of his past. He doesn't know what to do about these visions until he is met by a group of people called "The Frienteers" who tell him of danger in the near future and to join them in order to overcome it. As Daniel struggles with the decision, he senses a presence so dark that it forces him to make up his mind and make one important promise. Anything he learns must be kept secret.
