It's been eleven years since the Battle of Hogwarts, eleven years since Mae Pond last set eyes on Draco Malfoy.
Mae returns to Hogwarts as the new Professor for Defence Against the Dark Arts to find that none other than Draco Malfoy himself has also returned as Potions Professor.
They were friends once, almost, kind of. Maybe even more. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco promised Mae he would never leave her side. And then he vanished from her life entirely.
Draco appears to be his usual cold and unbothered self, but things aren't quite as they seem, and slowly Mae uncovers the real reasons for Draco's disappearance, and realises his version of events are very different.
