I couldn't speak, is he really dead? No, he isn't gone. He isn't. There's no fucking way, the physical therapist said he was getting better. He was okay. He is okay right now. My head ached, my heart rung throughout my ears. That night I cried in bed for hours, my mom was still incoherently screaming. That sickening feeling in my stomach wouldn't go away. That deep feeling within your soul that it's never gonna get any better.
