Lost Cause (A Psycho Pass/Makihsima Shogo Fanfiction)

A month after Makishima Shogo was assumed to have been shot and killed by former enforcer, Kougami Shinya, the man is nowhere to be found in Japan. He was taken into custody by two undercover CIA agents that took an interest on him, while investigating the current Japanese government.

In the 22nd century, due to political turmoil, the CIA was forced to disband, however, they only did so from all official records and are very much still active. They are now the backbone and single most influential entity in the American government. As the unofficial leaders of America, they must keep national security and economic stability a top priority, but when the opportunity presents itself, to investigate and toy with the most secure country in the world, they do not hesitate to intervene. And now their president and his second in command, have the largest threat to ever oppose the Sybil System under their own supervision.

The story will follow the handsome, young, and brutal President of the Central Intelligence Agency, Ryugamine Kirei. His Chief of Intelligence and second in command who shares many of his personality traits on a tamer level, Gil Hernandez, and the greatest threat known to the Japanese Sybil System, Makishima Shogo. When three sociopaths with indefinite power join forces in a moral and political battle, what sort of chaos will unravel around them?

I do not own any of the Characters, and Gil and Kirei are modeled after two of my favorite anime characters.
