Among The Trees

Humanity has been plagued by a mysterious fungal virus that infects animals, turning them hostile and aggressive towards humans, akin to the effects of rabies. Society as it was once known has collapsed and the remaining survivors have fled to the trees in an attempt to escape the infected animals. All seems to be well until signs of the fungal virus begin to show in humans, sparking panic among the already-failing communities. As the scientists race to find answers and a cure, only one question remains: will mankind recover from this plague?
