But when South refuses, she must go undercover, behind the social scene of high school, and band the Outsiders together. Yet she holds her popularity, boyfriend, family, and ultimately her life on the line, as no student is willing to let her give the untrusted Outsiders any power whatsoever, without a brutal fight.
