The night Ethan Cain escaped the Institute, he swore he would never go back and vowed to help anyone else who escaped. Three and a half years have passed since that night, and Ethan discovers two girls, Accalia and Selene, have escaped and are on the run from the same Institute. The Trio joins together to stay alive; however, the archangel Twilight, a cybernetic creation from the Institute, hunts them down to the ends of the Earth.
Ethan, Accalia, and Selene must push the boundaries of their physical self and powers to protect themselves and each other. The sinister plans of the Institute begin to unfold all around the trio, and one of them isn't what they appear to be. Will they be a friend or foe?
