Ruth Dixie and James Wells had a tough start in life. Ruth's parents tragically passed away, and before her mom's passing, she shared a heartfelt message, assuring Ruth that they would be reunited and to always stay strong. Determined to create a better future, Ruth decided to join the military.

Filled with mixed emotions, James made the decision to enlist in the military as well.

Fate brought Ruth and James together, and their bond grew stronger over time. However, their journey took an unexpected turn when their military leader handed them some papers. These documents revealed a tragic incident involving a family targeted by their own comrades. Ruth felt a sense of responsibility towards a little girl who managed to survive, while James had his reservations.

As the years passed, an apocalypse began, plunging their world into chaos. Now, Ruth, James, and the little girl must navigate this new reality together, facing unimaginable challenges along the way.
