new york city had a plethora of mafias at some point. it still does, just not as many in their heyday. the lifestyle dwindled out as most mafias have peaked. but the esposito family, one of crime, were definitely climbing the ranks. they were taking on bigger tasks, taking over industries in the city. that was until their boss, diego esposito, was shot and killed. diego had run the family with a firm hand and a kind word to follow. he was quick to act, which was both a blessing and a curse. his underboss, out of fear, turned the entire family in. a few members were left, having slipped through the police's clutches, but there was no way they were going to be left out of jail for long. they needed to pull themselves together. maybe they could make this better. but one of them is hiding a secret.
