Alera lost her mother early in life and was raised by a strict king for a father and the many nursemaids who crossed themselves before touching her. It wasn't until she was of marrying age that she learned why the people feared her. She was canny... like her forest mother. Canny and feared to be fae. The only person besides her father who didn't seem to fear her was the handsome stable boy. He knew what she was and didn't cross himself before letting his hands touch hers longer than needed for helping her to her mount. And on her 18th birthday, neither could deny the bond that dragged them together. But her father had her sold off to make an advantageous match with the neighboring king's sullen and cruel son. Even a kingdom over, the whispers of the canny princess the people feared as fae reached royal ears. But they thought to use her to their advantage...to put fear in their own people's hearts and make them bend the knee. The life she knew ended in a car crash-only for her to awaken inside the world she once played: a realm where monsters devour cities, magic tears the skies, and reality itself obeys the will of unseen Masters. Thrown into the lobby of a rookie Master, Freya starts at the bottom-weak, outnumbered, and scorned by the heroes she's forced to fight beside. But her spirit refuses to break. To survive, she must climb the Tower of Babel, endure endless hordes of monsters, and challenge rival lobbies ruled by powerful Masters-all while learning to control powers she barely understands. Every battle wounds her. Every defeat reshapes her. Every synthesis and struggle forges her into something more than human. Yet beyond every victory looms the shadow of the one who pulled her into this world-an entity whose motives remain unknown. To face it, Freya must become what even gods fear. From a one-star hero in a forgotten lobby to a force that can shake worlds- Freya will endure. She will fight. She will rise. This isn't a game anymore. This is survival, power, and defiance.
