Então sim ele é majoritariamente inspirado no universo de The walking dead já que ele se passa no mesmo universo, mas se você nunca assistiu The walking dead, ainda sim poderá ler a história tranquilamente, pois não ficará perdida e nem receberá spoiler

Nessa primeira parte da história você vai encontrar o começo de como Emily era antes de tudo, como ela conheceu Nicolas e toda a vibe romance estilo ano 2000
