"See the cruelty and the pain that you have caused once again. I seek revenge for the death of my children. I'll be free, when light fades and dusk comes through, the pain you caused will come back to you. Today I, Aranyani, the forest goddess cast this spell of karma tonight. I'm the god, I stand to fight and to protect" she yelled. The night sky roared as the thunder strikes the nearest trees. Strong winds and rain made it impossible for him to stand in one place.

It was true when she said, there's a natural law of karma that vindictive people, who go out of their way to hurt others, will end up broke and alone. Karma bides its time. It is unforgiving and always gets payback.

The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing, because an artful life requires being prepared to meet and withstand sudden and unexpected attacks. But even after living for 580 years, he was to not ready to face what waits ahead in the future.

Once upon a time, when the universe was still a canvas of chaos, two beings were born from the whispers of the cosmos - one to create, the other to end. Life bloomed first, her touch weaving colors into the void, breathing warmth into the cold emptiness. She carved lands from stardust and spilled rivers from her veins, painting beauty across the desolate world. But where life danced, shadows followed - for with every beginning, there must be an end. Death rose from the silence she left behind - dark, eternal, inevitable. He was the storm to her serenity, the hunger to her abundance. Yet even in his stillness, he watched her - watched how she gave, how she loved, how she created. And in that watching... something began to stir. But desire was a dangerous poison in the hands of Death. He didn't want to watch - he wanted to own. To break. To rule. When his hunger grew unbearable, he waged war - not for destruction, but for dominance. He wanted to claim Life - her power, her lands, her light. But neither could win, for they were equals. It was the Caretaker of the Fate Tree who sealed their endless battle with a challenge. If they wished to fight, they would do so not in the heavens... but in the mortal realm - bound by human flesh, bound by the rules of fate. A game of power. A game of desire. Yet no one could foresee the price that would be paid. For in his quest to conquer her... Death would fall to his knees. And Life would become his only obsession. The game was set. The players were ready. But fate... fate always had the final move.

COVER ART IS BY ME Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. One could say that Jasmine has had a lot of character development. One worth writing a story about. It the perfect origin story for a powerful and memorable heroine, which was Jasmine's dream since she was tiny. Both her parents were dead, the world had been brought to its knees (again), and her friends were starting to give up on saving the world. Jasmine feels hopeless that she'll ever have a future worth living. Especially when Aconi rose up to her godly status, forcing those oppose her into exile and serfdom. But when she meets a dragonet who shows her faith and strength that there is possibility, Jasmine started to believe that maybe she can actually survive this. Maybe with enough dragons that really believe in a better future for all, they can finally overthrow the tyrannous queen that has Pyrrhia under her talons. But when things go wrong in the worst way possible, leaving her dangling by a thread, Jasmine must finally decide what she is destined to do: be the hero and risk it everyone she loves, or make a deal she will never forgive herself for? Join Jasmine on the final installment of the Last Day Series, where she will walk paths that hadn't been walked in millennia, dragons and ancestors that will guide her talons to victory, wherever they may go. Jasmine will face Aconi, and she will meet her destiny, whether she lives to see the next day or not.

I wasn't born wicked. In fact, I was once a generous, lively, sweet, and caring daughter of the influential and wealthy Royal Chief Sentinel. My father was guarding the borders, and fought many battles for the Alpha King. But love destroyed me. When I first entered the palace as the chosen mate of the Alpha King, I fell in love with him at first sight. My feelings were reciprocated as he favored me above all the other chosen mates. In no time, I became his Royal Consort. However, my happiness was short-lived. Everything changed when he met my stepsister-his fated mate. From that moment, she became his entire world, and I became a shadow of my former self. Nature itself became my enemy; I couldn't compete with the unbreakable bond of fated mates. Consumed by jealousy, loneliness, and bitterness, I did the unthinkable-I killed the center of the Alpha King's universe. In return, he ended my life. My story came to a tragic end. But the Moon Goddess granted me another chance. I was reborn, five years before I first met the Alpha King. This time, I vowed to change my fate. I would no longer trust the Alpha's feelings or succumb to my old mistakes. Yet fate played a cruel trick on me. I was no longer his chosen mate-I was his fated mate. How can I avoid another tragic end when destiny has rewritten the rules?
