Brist is a griffin only taught to hate dragons. Otus is a dragon, taught that the griffins won't let them help. When the griffin army enter the forest to cross the mountains to supply for a food shortage, they don't expect Brist to befriend Otus. Seen as a traitor, the army left Brist for dead. Otus takes Brist to the dragons, and when he finds out the truth he knows he must warn the ones in his village. Will they listen? What have the Elders been hiding? I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Hunger. His stomach ached with pure hunger. His lips bled. His hands were nearly frozen shut by the freezing air around him. He couldn't move them if he tried. He could smell blood.
