Reginmund, also known as Ray, is a German teenager who gets the idea to start a single-player Minecraft Let's Play series and post it on YouTube. He starts up his computer, hits record, and begins a new Minecraft world.
He does the usual things you'd do in Minecraft, such as getting tools and supplies for his base.
Ray plans to end the series by defeating the Ender Dragon, obtaining an Elytra, and finish his base.
However, as he plays on his world, he notices strange occurrences. He finds structures that shouldn't be in his world, unusual builds made of Obsidian and Bedrock, and statues of angel-like beings. On top of that, he can see shadowy figures in the corner of his vision. Wasn't this supposed to be a single-player world?
Instead of the Let's Play ending as he had originally planned, Ray tries to find out what is causing these strange events in his world and who those shadowy figures are. But it seems they aren't as friendly as Reginmund thought they would be.

How Could This Be Real?
Angel's dream has come true- she's met her favorite YouTuber, Squid! But it's so much better than she ever could've imagined. He's so nice and altruistic and he actually wants to hang out with her, outside of Minecon. Wait... that can't be right. She's just a fan. Surely he wouldn't want to talk to her. But somehow, they become friends. Possibly even... more than friends. Hey there peoples of Wattpad, it's your gurl Elsie here. Somehow you have stumbled upon this book, so I suppose I should welcome you. But, I'm not going to because I'm lazy. *shrugs* You'll learn to deal with it if you stick around. Anyways, this is an iBallisticSquid fanfiction, if you couldn't tell by the cover. I've been working on it for... let's see, I think coming up on two years now? I know, a whole two years invested in something I'll probably be ashamed of in the future, but oh well. Enough about that, I've gotta tell you something before you attempt to start reading this, if you're at all interested for whatever reason. There are some chapters that are "mature," but I put a warning at the beginning of them so you can skip them if you don't like reading that type of content. It never goes into detail so I'm not going to mark the whole story mature, but I'm just telling you now as a heads-up. But please don't let that scare you off! It's quite far into the story and like I said, you can always just skip it if you want. I encourage you to just give this story a try. There's always the back button if you decide it's not for you, which I know it won't be for a lot of people.
