Althea, a girl who doesn't have a life to begin with. It's always school, work, housework, money grinding, and her little twin brothers. Like a robot, she does everything to make everything perfect for the people in the household; but not to herself.
Everything was painful for her. A constant panic attack, abusive family, and two little brothers to protect. She's always on edge. To be perfect for the sake of other people.
Once she made a decision that no one expected. A painful night that turns into a fairytale when someone of a father figure appears before her. Her life changes drastically. That guy is a caring soul that wants to protect his children from any harm that appears before him. A father that once lost his beloved daughter.
Then, she fell in love with someone. Someone caring, loving, bright and kind. But her illness worsens when she realizes that falling in love with that certain someone will lead to disaster. On top of that, an incident happened, causing her and her lover to split apart. Her ego, her illness, and herself. She failed to control her emotions. She realized that she's the only one that can take care of herself.
Will she have the chance to change and live her life like normal people do? Will she be able to heal from the wounds that keep haunting her?
This is a story about a girl who craves happiness not for other people; but for herself.
