After years of expansion, The Ares Coalition had fallen into disarray. Corrupt Politicians came into power, and crime rose. After years of oppression, the colonists of a great many planets had finally revolted and the Order of Unity wrought chaos across the galaxy. The Coalition had taken its toll in this war and their resources are exhausted. On the colony planet of Iliad there's a young colonist named Onyx. His next move will determine the fate of the war.

The Law and the Codas
The government every year tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of four Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking militia commandos and government jobs, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the government has to offer: The Law. To ensure that they would be able to keep ruling the world, The Law started implanting chips into all its citizens. These chips called DEC, as Contained electrical current, it's an electronic chip that looks like a silver dot, these chips allowing The Law and any actual law enforcement to be able to track everyone. And it would help to keep everyone in line and stomp out any pesky notions before they manifested into something bigger, something dangerous. Shirley is known in the Facility as Ten, alongside six others, they have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the Law. When a group calls themselves the codas breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete

Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Complete

Countries have been reassigned as numbers and there are only a few independent states left. The one thing you do not do is cross Princips Ltd, break the law and you can be jailed or even killed. When Kira steals some bread for her starving mother she is caught and put up for slavery. Her new master is known for being brutal, but reputations are not always what they seem, especially when you are taken to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, a far cry from the deprivation of the slums or bright lights of the city.Complete
