Pretty and bubbly cheerleader Margery Benson is humiliated when the football team captain cheats on her with a school teacher; so when Colter Parkers, the mysterious hot guy from the debate varsity, asks her to be his fake girlfriend, she agrees.

Colter is the exact opposite of Marge, but he's smart enough to know that his fake relationship with her might be his only chance of escaping the arranged marriage set by his parents.

Putting their differences aside, the two establish a "no hard feelings" rule throughout their entire fake relationship.
