She couldn't look much longer as her stomach starved more for the food arranged on the table. Fae, ogres, Halflings, elf's, goblins, dryads and more feasted. She was back in an awful land, back in a land or horror and beauty in a land where she once committed treason so high, magic forbid her from ever returning. But here she was, looking at the head still connected to the shoulders of a man she couldn't kill in a past life. A past life she remembers painfully well. And a past life she will take revenge for. The pinch of the leather strapped to her leg holding her dagger laced with volcanic metal heating red in the cracks with her rage was a constant reminder of her oath to herself and her past.
