After quitting his waiter job, Rody hopes that his ex-girlfriend will finally pick up the phone so they can go out for dinner, but she doesn't. She never picked up.
And when he thought it couldn't get any worse, he's getting kicked out of his apartment in 3 days. While panicking about finding a new job and home, he remembers that his old boss, Vince, had said that if he wanted, he could be the new waiter when he was quitting.
Rody talks to Vince and begged if he can have his old job back which Vince agrees on under on condition, knowing that Rody will be homeless in a few days he will let him stay in his house but Rody won't be working a full-time job, instead he will also be taking care of Vince's younger sister Charlotte.
Rody agrees because what other choice does he have? Besides, he never knew Vince had a younger sister. Vince and Rody slowly became closer to each other, but Rody still wants to know how Manon is and where she is, and if she is alright, but you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
