Chapter 1
Emily's POV
I wake up to the ring of a phone, Hotchs phone. "Hotchner" he says into the phone. "Okay we will be there in a few" he says as he hangs up. "We got a case?" I ask sitting up on the bed. "Yep" he answers yawning. "When will a day off ever be a day off" I ask as I walk over to my closet to pick out some clothes. "Unfortunately…never" he says with a small laugh. I nod my head. "What's the case" I ask slipping on a blue shirt. "I don't know, but it doesn't sound like a good one" he answers going into the bathroom to brush his teeth. "It never is" I say. I grab my gun, badge, and overnight bag and yell "Aaron hurry!" I grab the keys as he slips past me. He touches the car and says, "beat you". "Can't run in heels" I says fast walking to the car. "Still beat you" he says smiling. I touch the car and say, "first is the worst, second is the best". He gets in the passenger seat. "Still beat you" he says. "Whatever" I say. 6 in the morning, and I thought it was a day off.
