Tale of woods and cities

Layla and Leon work together in a cafe and rented an apartement above said cafe. There they live with Laylas Friend Andrea and her "son" Thomas. One day she finds the picture of the forest with a hole in the glass of the frame, without an explenation.
From that point in life, everything went either mysteriously good, or suspiciously bad. Did this all tie to the mysterious forest outside of citys walls? At least thats what the old storys want you to believe.

At the same time are hybrids sent out to infiltrate the City and spy on the humans, who had tried to kill them all hundrets of years ago.
How will this play out? What will happen when hybrids and humans cross paths again? And what if innocent little secret are going to become scary big ones?
