~ 'Matthew slid closer to me so our bodies were pressed up against each other in a not to intimate way. "I hope I cross your mind every once in a while," Matthew said in an almost whisper. "Just so I don't feel so pathetic for thinking of you all the time." I felt my heart beat at a rapid pace as he said those words to me. Nothing like that had ever been said to me before, and that was all it took for me to reach up to Matthew and connect my lips with his.' ~

Twenty-one years ago, America Singer entered the Selection with no intention of claiming Prince Maxon's heart for herself
Now, another Selection is about to surface, and Illéa is more excited than ever. Not only did Maxon and America provide an heir, but twin sons.
Sol Soble, a Four from Kent, wanted nothing to do with the Selection. Her life was no fantasy with magic sugar castles and money growing on trees, but she loved Kent and certain things in it; and for that, the Selection wasn't in her best interest. But after a sudden tragedy, Sol's world is rocked to its core and she is doing things she never thought she would do; entering the Selection, going to the Palace, and maybe, even starting to fall in love. It's only common knowledge that when people don't learn from history, it's often doomed to repeat itself.

/Highest Ranking /#1 in TRIALS/ Maddie slowly opened her eyes. As if, she was taken aback from a majestic world with sweet voices of singing angels. A set of dark and round eyes were locked onto hers and she was firmly held by two strong arms while his fingers tingling her back with soft caress. One moment, Matthew looked at her with so much flame and of so much passion as if those eyes reflect what's deep within hers. She longs for him and that any moment she will explode. Then passed another moment, the passionate look in his eyes turned into dreadful gaze. She was tightly held up to the point that he is already hurting her. "How far can you go, Maddie?" Matthew sarcastically uttered. "I am very happy that you came back for Sabina, I thought you're a good mother after all. I was led to believe that you did that for her sake, and deep within you, a caring mother really exists. But now, knowing your daughter's worth, you're too eager to claim her fortune by dragging me into this?", he paused for a moment. "I can never fall for this. You maybe Sabina's birth mother but not until I am breathing, you can't touch anything that is hers. She doesn't deserve a fortune-hungry mother like you!" Matthew pushed Maddie so hard that she fell unto her knees. She is in pain not because her knees got scratched from her fall, she is in pain because she knew Matthew has already judged her. "You're a spoiled, ungrateful brat." Asher snarled, turning around so suddenly that I nearly fell from the sheer momentum. His blue eyes blazed with an icy fire as they narrowed into slits. "Why are you so ignorant?" He took a large step towards me as his words rocketed around the room. I bit my trembling lip with all the strength in the world. No freaking way. Absolutely not. I refused to cry in front of him. "Can't you see that I care?" His tone so dangerously quiet, so very low. I pushed myself back further into the stony wall, hoping it would swallow me whole. "Is that not enough?" His eyes dropped to my lips, flickering back up as quickly as they had fallen. All I could see was him, all I could feel was him. He had captured every single one of my senses. And I hated it. He made me feel things that I sure as heck didn't deserve to feel. "To hell with the rest of them." He growled, "you're mine." ------- Ariella Gates is the daughter of one of the richest men in the world. As someone who is set to inherit billions, she's never had to lift a finger.
