'Just had a mourning spell,' I lied. 'I'm fine now.'
'Good. We were getting worried,' Kai nodded at me. I shrugged. Yeah, right. Worried Lloyd would be sad if I died and wouldn't be able to protect them and Ninjago.
What am I thinking? Of course they're worried... They're my friends, too, right? Right?"

After his sister is kidnaped, Kai sets out on a mission to get her back. However in order to do so, he must first train and become a Spinjitzu Master, Kai with the help of his new found Sensei and team mates must collect the four Weapons of Spinjitzu in order to rescue his sister from the clutches of Lord Garmadon. El felt a lot of things. She felt angry, sad, confused. She had this sort of blah feeling. A shade of grey, some would say. So El finally made the move to Ninjago. She knew no one, she had no job, she didn't know where to go. But then she made friends. Real friends, and she began to feel something else. Almost as if the shades of grey began to get brighter and brighter and brighter and- Well, you get the point.
