Steven Universe: The Heretic

The Heretic's Anguish and the Armor of the Fallen were briefly mentioned in season 1 episode 45 of Steven Universe and never brought up again as is the case for many things in the series. This story is my take on the tale of these items and how they could play into the story post Future. As such the story will be a sequel taking place after the events of Steven Universe Future and will introduce a new character known as the Heretic or the Paladin of Rose Quartz prior to his fall from grace. There will also be references to the light series of games (primarily the prism).

Synopsis:

Many were lost during Rose Quartz's rebellion against the Diamond Authority, but not all were forgotten. Pearl seeks to aid a fallen comrade from her time in the Gem rebellion and will face old demons from the war for earth. The Heretic will struggle to traverse his past after being freed into the present day and will need to come to terms with how the war ended. With the help of a lovable feline companion, he will meet many familiar faces such as Lapis, Peridot, Hessonite, and many more in his search to uncover the mystery of his past.
