After a harrowing experience with a clown, Deserey decides enough is enough. New Jersey is no longer safe enough for the Dunets; she packs everything she can fit inside her vehicle and moves her family to Missouri.

From Gotham to Central City.

However, there is an old superstition in Gotham: madness and chaos will follow the locals wherever they go.

This reigns true when a week after the big move, Central City explodes and plunges the residents into an all new brand of craziness. Weirdness.

Deserey finds herself with abilities and skills she had thought she lost years ago as a direct result of the explosion.

And she is not the only one who's been affected. Other people have abilities too, dangerous people with even more dangerous capabilities. Men who can control the weather, a woman who can teleport, and a red streak who's too fast to see clearly.

There's a group, a team, operating out of the old S.T.A. R. Labs building. The building that has been shut down and declared hazardous. The people who are responsible for the explosion.

And they want Deserey's help.
