Katelyn Taylor has always been sort of a nerd. She's smart, an athlete, and a singer. She can do basically anything, but she may not be the best at it. Meet Josh White, he is an even bigger nerd than Katelyn. He is not as athletic as she is, but he loves to swim. Josh White is into all of the nerdy books and movies, like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the Hunger Games.
Katelyn and Josh have been best friends for as long as they can remember. They both went to grade school together. They know all of each other's secrets, and basically everything about the other. But what happens when Katelyn goes to a private school for girls, and Josh goes to the neighboring private school for boys. Will Katelyn finally gain the confidence she never had? Or will Josh finally share something with Katelyn that she doesn't even know about? As Katelyn and Josh spend more time away from each other, will they learn to accept being apart or will they learn to cherish the moments they have together?

Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years.
