Ruth Kensington is the eldest daughter of the king and queen of the North side, John and Harley Kensington, who control one of the most massive gangs in the city. Their haunted past, built up resentment, and unsaid words have left the family in a state of separation and the gap only seems to get wider while Ruth searches for peace as the future leader.
Unexpectedly however, another murder is casted onto the Kensington family name and the main suspect is the son of the Hart group, otherwise known as the Kensington's greatest enemy. Ruth is in charge of seeking justice for her family but her mission turns into a long journey of hate, obsession, lust, and love, until she finally must make a decision. Victory, or love?

P.S the story will get better as it goes I promise and I originally wrote this as jokes for a friend so the format is a little weird

Aurora Kensington has spent years trying to silence the voice in her head-the one that sounds too much like Briar Holloway. The girl who was once her best friend. The girl who came out to her. The girl she pushed away. Now eighteen, Aurora is desperate to prove she's everything she's supposed to be: a good daughter, a devoted Catholic, normal. But no matter how hard she prays, no matter how many rules she follows, she can't shake the feeling that something inside her is broken. And when she sees the lights on in the Holloway house for the first time in years, something deep in her chest stirs. She doesn't know Briar is back. Not until she turns around at a party and finds her standing there. Briar never planned to return to Chapelwood, but with her family drowning in debt and her grandmother's health failing, she had no choice. She tells herself she doesn't care about Aurora anymore-that she only came to this party because she thought it'd be funny. But the second their eyes meet, the past slams into her like a tremor. Old wounds. Old feelings. Ones that never truly faded. Because "love" (if you can call it that) like theirs doesn't disappear. It fractures. It festers. It trembles under the weight of everything unsaid. And if they're not careful, it might just swallow them whole. But none of it truly matters anyway. Not unless Aurora is willing to face the truth about herself. A story about love, sin, and the thin line between devotion and obsession.

Two sisters flee Jamaica to escape death, only to fall deeper into a world of crime and corruption under the rule of a dangerous kingpin. When one of them falls for his right-hand man, forbidden love ignites a chain of violence, betrayal, and revenge that spans years-and costs them everything. After a brutal escape from Jamaica, Thelma and Valerie seek safety under Marquez Gomez, a man whose protection comes at a price. Thelma becomes trapped in his control, coerced into his bed while her sister struggles to survive his empire's violent demands. Enter Eugene Petrov, Marquez's loyal enforcer-sharp, loyal, and dangerous in his own right. What begins as stolen glances between Thelma and Eugene turns into an affair that risks everything they've built-and everything they're trying to forget. Together with Marquez's crew-Derek and Peter-they carry out a plan to frame rival Manuel Ruiz for murder, tying the sisters to the underworld for good. But loyalty in Marquez's world is a one-way street. As Valerie's unexpected pregnancy and Marquez's twin daughters with his wife Julia complicate the family web, Thelma finds herself caught between survival and self-destruction. When Eugene's past resurfaces-his estranged mother, his sister Polina, his late father's ghost-it forces him to choose between blood and love. A violent attack and miscarriage push Thelma to escape, and together she and Eugene attempt a fragile rebirth: raising their daughters Yasmine and Sapphire in peace. But peace doesn't last long. Julia, Valerie, and the ghosts of Marquez's empire won't stay buried. Love doesn't save you in this world-it just gives you something worth dying for.
