Before there was ever a Selene Lupin, there was a Selene Black, and even before that, there was Selene Malfoy. A Slytherin girl struggling to make all the right choices, Selene was a loner that had no hope in the future. With pressure on all sides and an impending war on the horizon, Selene was sure that there was no way she could escape the family legacy that was being impressed upon her.
Enter the Gryffindors, a rag-tag group of four boys calling themselves the Marauders and a fiery redheaded girl that had no problems sharing her opinions. Taking Selene under their wing, these Gryffindors became her new family, showing her an entirely new world that she never knew even existed: a world of magic, stars, and mischief.

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons.
