Esme gasps, " Why are you following me? " She stumbles back, pointing the gun at him, " Really? You thought my father would send me here without protection? " He scoffs and swiftly grabs the gun from her just as gracefully as he had when he was holding her close while dancing. " You're an interesting little dame, aren't you? " He chuckles, his laughter laced with mischief. He placed the chamber back in with a flick of his wrist. His gaze shifted to her as he spoke, " You might be Daddy's girl, but you don't have the gull to actually shoot. " He speaks casually. " No gull? " She repeated teasingly.
