"Kitty... I don't know what to do with this." Ladybug finally says, sighing the words as if they carry the weight of the world, the light dying in her usually fiery eyes. Once again, Chat feels guilty.

"Just," Chat pauses. What could he say? What hasn't he already said in past confessions? It never worked, anyways---even Sappho's moving words would have little chance against his partner's resistance to romance. The man resumes, his voice now absent of the hope he swore he would not let grow within him, "Just give us a chance."
