Danyelle Roteman is an average 18 year old girl just trying to survive her last year of high school. But when she and her mother get into an accident, that wont be the only thing she's trying to survive. After a three month coma, she wakes up in a hospital, confused and scared. No one is there to comfort her, to tell her what happened, to hug her, nothing. In a world taken over by a deadly sickness, and no government, Danyelle tries to find out just exactly what happened to her and the rest of the world. Then she meets a boy named Markus who absolutely hates her... At first.
