The first time he appeared to her, his edges blurred softly with a delicate frame of moonlight, she witnessed him pressing his fingertips gently against the glass window. A sigh escaped him and as suddenly as he appeared, he was gone.
She sat up in bed, wide-eyed and panting. She was just fourteen without a single clue that this would end up being one of the most important people she'd ever meet. Unluckily for Jane, he also happened to be dead.
