What if Fireheart was born a Clan cat? And what if there were six Clans rather than five? Both of those questions get answers, along with other alterations, in this story.

It has been moons since MireClan was chased from the forest by BrokenStar. In the time they were gone, a kit was born, orphaned, as far as he was told. A tiny, blazing ember, destined to be great.
Avocetpaw, killed by the cruel, biting cold of highstones, sees all of this, his starry paws led far astray from his home. And he will guide this fiery kit to where their cats are.
