No mutant ever really fits in. Sam and Amara are new to the big city of New York, and new to the world of mutants themselves too. So is Anna-marie, who'd rather be anywhere but at the institute. But the three seem to mend together perfectly, and she knows that she must stay just for their sakes.
Humanity is going to be their enemy in this obstacle course of life, and they must learn to weave and dodge threats if they want to survive.
