Departure on Faith by CajunValkyrie
1 part Complete
The Egyptian woman Merneith, having witnessed the devastating plagues that struck Egypt, felt a deep stirring within her heart. As she saw the power of the God of Israel manifest in ways that defied the might of her homeland's deities, her spirit was moved towards a faith she had never known. Each plague, from the water turning to blood to the darkness that enveloped the land, only solidified her growing belief that the God of the Israelites was supreme. As the final and most harrowing plague swept through Egypt, claiming the lives of the firstborns, she saw the stark contrast between her stricken people and the protected Israelites. In the midst of her sorrow, she found a glimmer of hope in the God who had spared His own. Her heart, heavy with the weight of what she had witnessed, yearned for the peace and protection she saw among the Israelites. When the Israelites were finally set free by Pharaoh's decree, the woman made a bold decision. She left behind her life in Egypt, her home, and all that she had known. Her faith propelled her to join the Israelites on their journey out of bondage and toward a promise she barely understood but deeply longed for. As she traveled with the Israelites, she faced the same uncertainties and challenges that they did. Crossing the Red Sea, wandering in the wilderness, and relying on divine provision, her faith grew stronger. She found a new community and a new identity among the people of Israel, united by a common faith in the God who had shown His power and mercy. Through her journey, she became a testament to the transformative power of faith. Her story echoed through the generations as a reminder that God's call transcends boundaries and that His grace is available to all who seek it.

This narrative is a sequel to the previous tale, now unfolding within an Islamic cultural context for my Muslim audience. It will weave elements of Judaism into the storyline and the personas that will feature in each chapter. The characters selected to headline each segment will bear names of Islamic and Jewish heritage, such as Mehmed, Selim, Fatima, Ahmed, Bayezid, Baybars, Yeshua, Joshua, Job, Ezekiel, Hezekiah, Emmanuel, Sarah, Samuel, Abraham, and Isaac. Each chapter will take place in the medieval era, featuring cities and countries from the "Fairy Tail" manga series, alongside real historical locations around the world. One chapter may unfold in Medieval Europe, while another could explore the decentralized medieval Middle East and the Levantine Coast. Note that each chapter will begin with a synopsis of the respective time period, so be sure to watch for it. However, it's important not to anticipate a uniform time setting for each chapter. Should inspiration strike, a chapter may unfold in a historical era distinct from its predecessor. For instance, one chapter might take place during the Romantic period of world history, which is the early 19th century, while another might be set in antiquity, long before the advent of railways, the telegraph, and contemporary infrastructure systems we typically take for granted. Inspiration is the key, and now that we've got the formalities out of the way, it's time to plunge into the creative abyss, right? Are you ready?

(Lilith Series Book One)There are two sides to every story, but that doesn't mean that both are always heard. That's the funny thing about history, we don't often hear it from the voices that matter most. The same goes for me. Though the story of the Garden of Eden may seem clear as day, the truth of the matter has been long lost to time and the horrors that happened within it are now only known to its original residents. Though Adam may have been the first man to walk the Earth, to many people's surprise, Eve was not in fact the first woman, for that title would be held by another tortured soul that came before her; a soul who fled after refusing to be subservient to a man that would do unspeakable things to her against her will. Though he was later banished from the garden after his new wife trusted a particularly clever serpent who tricked her into eating fruit from the single tree that had been deemed forbidden, Adam still became famous for his role in humanity while his true first wife seemingly disappeared from the record, only appearing in subtle reference as the 'monster' she became, damning mankind as she spread a plague of demons across the Earth. But now, the question remains, just who was Eden's first daughter? This story takes place in the spring of 2024, and the Archangelic Council is having trouble making a crucial decision that will greatly impact the world. In a dire time like this, they were told by Adonai, God himself before he left the world in their hands long ago, that another council could be called in to help. After putting it to a vote, the New Order was to be assembled and their leader was none other than the wife of both Samael and Lucifer, the mother of all demons herself, Lilith. This story covers important issues including but not limited to bullying, self-harm, suicide, and sexual assault. Going into detail about these things is important to the story and viewer discretion is advised.
