56 years down the road — chaos is the only thing anybody knows. With all resources gone and the government broken up, everybody runs freely. Society is nothing more than the broken flame of a dying fire, suppressing the people, stealing their voices, promoting violence for population control, forcing women to fall back on what we worked so hard to achieve. Many file in line, bowing their heads, looking the other way. Violators of the law above the age of eighteen are sentenced to death.

Yet there is hope.
