In the wings is a lgbtq+ Rom-Com about love backstage. This story follows 15 year old Joshua Allen, a freshman whos summer romance left (both physically and metaphorically) on the 2nd day of school. all he's trying to do now, is find that "Highschool Musical" type love story that we all know is the polar opposite of actual highschool, and avoid his ex boyfriend Eddie Cash, who he still is trying to get over.

And as our other main character, we meet Brody Soul. a 16 year old sophomore who knows what to expect entirely. Whether that be the unexpected or not, he's not trying to get tied up in the drama club. but, to-many classes skipped and homework assignments not turned in lands him in stage-crew as his punishment. according to his bitchy guidance counselor, Mr. Grey, "you need more responsibility to understand things need to happen when supposed too." so now he's painting sets and hoping he can catch a ride home.
